A Thanksgiving to be thankful for

We spent this Thanksgiving with Anji's oldest and youngest sisters. Funny how they ended up in the same city when all the rest of the sisters are all over the place. We had some car troubles (of course when haven't we had car troubles) and were worried that we wouldn't make it, but we did. Kelly has such a beautiful home and we really enjoyed our stay with them. Sometimes I can't believe how blessed we are and wonder what we have done to deserve it.

Nana and Papa traveled on the long 930 mile drive with us. Of course you know why Nana went.... Hint it wasn't the food!

Yes Izzy Nana came to squeeze you to death. Well not death but near death. All for the sake of love. Don't look so surprised.

We had 3 of the Grotepas sisters in one house. Known for their great beauty and powers at keeping a tight ship!

Word to the wise don't make funny faces at the guy with the camera. Even if you threaten him with death he won't be able to resist the urge to post that very funny face.

Nana spent a lot of time packing around the baby. Her baby!

Later after the big dinner Kelly started to put up her Christmas decoratons. Anji wasn't able to help as she got some sort of stomach flue, and the boys spent all the rest of their time wiring up the basement. Just cuz serious work was going on doesn't mean that Abby and Clayton couldn't have fun. Clayton loves to play with his cousin Abby. He has been talking about her ever since we came back home.

Did you know that Ariel (the little mermaid) lives in Abby's chocolate milk. It is true, ask her. That little girl has quit the imagination.
