Nathan’s hot’n tasty BBQ

It’s true; Nathan is famous for his tasty barbecue skillz. People come from miles around just to taste the smoked delicacies off his hot grill. Kidz go CRAZY for the taste and adults can’t resist. A real palate pleaser Nathan’s is the place people go for a full and happy belly.

After his Grandfather started a famous hot dog stand in Coney Island New York; on an urge Nathan moved to Utah bringing with him his vast knowledge and skill set in dealing with animal proteins. Ask Clayton his son about the great tasting meat that come off the grill and you get an enthusiastic nod (he’s speechless). Clayton particularly likes the hot Ball Park Franks his dad grills with tender care (Disclaimer: due to high fuel prices Nathan’s hot dogs stay in New York, but Ball Parks are universally available for a great price; hey you make sacrifices where you have to).

Just look at the wild excitement as these kids get a taste for Nathan’s BBQ ribs.



We asked Nathan how he does it ”It is important to buy good meat but if you know how to BBQ things right you can make meat from an old dead dog taste like it is grade AAA prime beef! More than that I can’t tell you, the military has placed a restriction on my sharing that sort of information” Upon probing deeper about the dog meat, Nathan replied ”The name hotdog is not an accident, more than that I cannot say”.

BBQ so delicious they can’t put the meat down to say hello.


Mom's approve and everyone, and we mean everyone leaves happy from Nathan’s BBQ palace!

Dani Graduated

Dani graduated and I have the physical evidence to disprove all the nay sayers! She is now a member of the hood.... Well the doctor hood. Look how happy she is to get that blue piece of cloth/hood thing slung around her neck. Trading in the heavy weight of not done academia for the hooded I am done! Now if Nathan would just get his act together.........




After the ceremony we went out and snapped a few photos outside. Jason was so proud......


Anji and Nikki stood proudly by their famous sister!


Well she felt famous considering there were three high powered cameras snapping rapidly at her.


Afterward we went to a little italian resaruant for some food. Just as we arrived a bit of rain began to fall. Yep look they are gonna get wet!


We ended up waiting for about an hour for our table to be ready. Good thing we had family and friends to talk with and keep company.


It was worth it in the end. The food was good and Jason picked up the tab. what more could you ask for?

Clayton's favorite food

Bet you would never guess what Clayton's favorite food is (Hint he is quarter Mexican and 90% of that quarter is in his stomach)? Are you guessing that he likes beans? Not just any garden variety beans but pinto beans. He likes them plain or with corn chips. He likes them on his hands, face and especially in his mouth. Ok, so he doesn't like jalapenos but he is young and his palate is still tender.





See how happy he is when he is eating beans! It just goes to show that the old rhyme about eating beans is true. You should see how happy Clayton's dad is when he is eating beans! Clayton X2!
