So much going on lately hard to keep up on the blog.

Vivian 4 months later

Our little girl is growing up! She is getting so strong and alert!



She is such a good natured little baby. She takes after her dad and just goes with the flow. She does have a bit of the stubborn streak that comes from my wife's side of the family, but for the most part she just takes things as they come.



She has one little tooth that is sharp as a razor with more on the way. She is so fun and cute!

Vivian's baby blessing

A bit late in getting to it, but wanted to share some beautiful photos of our baby girl! She was blessed last weekend (first weekend of the month). Lots of family and friends were there to support us, and we are truly touched. Those who couldn't make it, we missed, but we know your hearts are with us.

More Vivian

Vivian is such a great little, baby. She doesn't fuss much, sleeps like an angel and eats really well. I wanted to share a few more photos of our new little angel.



Mom is so able to make baby Vivian content. Mother and daughter allready have such a bond. Doesn't Vivian have the greatest little smile!

Anji is feeling soooo good now that the birth is over, and well being a mother is something super special that us men could never hope to understand.

The only other people that are as happy to see Vivian as we are, are the grandparents (Lots of people were happy to meet Vivian but the grandparents were nearly bouncing with excitement).

Early photos of baby Vivian

Baby Vivian is here! Here are some of the early pictures for family and friends in faraway places. All these photos are minutes after her birth. Vivian hasn't had time to clean up yet, so there will a slew of photos coming once she is all pretty-ed up (you know how girls are).









She weighed in at a meager 6 lbs. 6oz. and is healthy, beautiful, everything parents could ask for.

It is almost time

The baby should be here any time now...



There are a bunch of people excited to see baby Vivian! We will wait as long as is needed so the baby is healthy and strong. If she needs more time, she can have all she wants, but we are still can't wait to see her!

Clayton is ready to have a baby sister! Mom is done being pregnant, and dad is just plain excited!

Can you hear me now?

It is getting closer, we have 5 weeks until Clayton's new baby sister will be here! Clayton knows that a baby sister is in mom's belly, and we tell him that he has a sister on the way. I just don't think he understands what that means. He has become used to being the one and only.



I know he will be a good big brother! I for one can't wait to see baby Vivian! Yup we have settled on a name for the new baby girl. Anji's great grandmother Vivian is the name sake. My mom will be name sake for the middle name (Elizabeth). Can't wait for the day for Vivian Elizabeth Marx to arrive!

Expecting a girl

It has been busy lately, so this news is a little old...

We are going to have a girl! Hurray! Here is an Ultra Sound from a recent doctor visit...



She is a cutie isn't she! We can't wait to meet her in person (we don't want her to come early, but right on time). She is very active recently as we feel her kicking when ever mom lays down for some sleep (a shadow of what is to come).

Soon Clayton will be a big brother! Clayton knows that Mom is carrying a baby, but I don't think he understands what that means...

Everyone, meet Clark

Welcome Clark the newest member of the Christiansen family! The Christiansens are such good friends, we just had to visit on the special day. We were actually the first to arrive at the hospital (bragging rights) except of course John, Mandy and little Clark. Mandy was radiating joy, you can tell at that moment why Moms do what they do.

Ahh baby feet! Love the cute little toes!



Now for the numbers (John loves numbers): The kid was 9 days early (and Mandy was glad, any longer and Clark would have been to big to get out). He weighs a respectable 9 lbs 6 oz, laying a cool 21" long! Look at those Chubby little cheeks! He goes by Clark Roger Christiansen.







Clark did what little guys his age do best... sleep.

Mandy may have done all the work, but John sure was proud as a peacock. I think he has good reason, the little guy is a cutie.

It's a boy!!!!

My little sister had her baby a couple of weeks ago.... Everybody welcome Clayton's newest and smallest cousin, Brody! Drum roll please.



It's funny how you can forget just how little these guys are when they are born.



Of course as newborns do, Brody was able sleep through the whole experience. No wonder people can't remember things from when they were a few weeks old. You sleep so much there is nothing to remember.



I think that Brody was having some good dreams don't you?






He tried to wake up for part of the pictures but naw he couldn't keep those little eyes open.






YYYYYAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWNNNNNN! This little guy does have big mouth.

Jordan loves that new little brother of hers. She won't let any of the school bullys pick on her little bro! Brody is safe with a tough big sister like Jordan around!





Of course I can't just show pics without my little boy being in them. This is his new cousin after all. He had a blast hanging out with his cousin Jordan! They are just too cute together! Love that little guy!
