San Diego fun

The first part of the week was not sunny but the kids don't notice things like the absence of sun, or the fact that the weather is dark and wet. It is all the same to them.

We did a lot of fun things while in San Diego, but I think the kids had the most fun at the parks and beaches, doing free things. We arrived at a beach just West of La Jolla where the parks were filled with birds. Off the kids went chasing the birds around...

Look at Clayton move!

After chasing the birds the twins instincts kicked in and they had to clean themselves off (Girls)...

Down at the beach there was some cool caves, great little photo op. for family photos.

A couple of close-ups...

At one point the kids decided to climb the cliffs. Jack of course was the leader and way up ahead leaving the others to try to catch up.

It was all good as Jason had his Spidey sense going, and would be able to pull the kids to safety at a moments notice...

San Diego with twins

It is an adventure vacationing with the Sander's twins. These girls will and do get into everything. You really need to keep an eye on them or they will steal the food right out of your bowl!

Jason didn't even know what hit him...

San Diego (day 1)

I haven't been active on the blog much lately but have been very active with the camera. Our little family is vacationing with the Colorado Sanders in the not so sunny (during our visit) San Diego.

The two familys together make a total of eight peps. The first adventure - getting from the air port to the beach house we are staying at. We piled 8 people (with three car seats) into a Tahoe. Now you may be thinking that shouldn't be a problem a Tahoe seats 8. The difficult part was what to do with the luggage, play-yards etc. Lets just say that it is a good thing Jason did a lot of Legos when he was younger...

We arrived at the house a bit travel weary. No beach, no fun that first day, just a little relaxation.

It only took a minute or two for the kids to get their energy. At least they had each other two play with.

Stay tuned for more San Diego fun...
