We all went down to Sanpete for memorial weekend. It was a nice little visit, I wanted to share pics with all those who were there and those not...
First in memory of my great great grandfather...
One thing about going down to Sanpete, there is never a lack of food to eat. Everyone has happy tummies (or unhappy tummies if you loose self restraint).
Some people were a little confused as what to do with all that food.

Outdoor cooking at its finest!

My parents got some new baby ducks and chickens...
It was a wet Memorial weekend, had to get out and capture some of the clouds!

We took portraits of a few of the cousins and Clayton. Isn't he getting soo good looking!

The cute cousins (girls)!

Ethan had his own style of portraits in mind...
I look at this one and can almost hear the bullets whizzing by...
I feel so much safer with Ethan on guard!

Andrew and Lindsay
Over Thanksgiving, I made a couple of photographs of my little bro. Andrew and his wife Lindsay. We were visiting my family in Mt. Pleasant for the day of thanks and humility (the day really isn't turkey day).
Sometimes not smiling makes great photos!
Oh I forgot to mention the newer addition to Andrew and Lindsay's family, Maggie...
Maggie is the harry little apple of Mom's eye!
This is one of my favs...
Part of the alleyway had collapsed (we weren't expecting that) so the alley was a little different from what we expected. A little later we went down to the creek bed and under the over pass for a few more...

OK, for the traditionalist, here is the same pose as the first but with smiles...
Andrew was and is my best friend. We grew up playing and fighting. It always makes me happy to see Andrew and Lindsay happy together.

One reason to like Mt. Pleasant
There are so many things to love about Mt. Pleasant. The small town is nestled in the beautiful Sanpete valley. The mountains are old school (dirt roads), and the people are super friendly. Life moves at a much more leisurely pace.
One thing we love to do when we visit is spend time on the mountains 4-wheeling (I think I put my camera in serious jeopardy taking 4-wheeling photos;)...
The last visit(labor day weekend) it was misty, a bit of hail was falling and the roads were muddy. IT WAS AWESOME!!! Here we are after a bit of a ride, the mountain continues behind us, but the fog was obscuring everything. Grandma and Grandpa (my parents) stayed behind to watch the Grandkids...
So now you know one great reason to love Sanpete, but again it is only one of many!

Mt. Pleasant fun
I was going through the photos I had taken during our visit to Grandma and Grandpa's when Clayton came by. He saw photos of his cousins and exclaimed, "hey that is a picture of my friend..." naming each cousin who I had images of.
It is so wonderful that Clayton has cousins that live nearby, which he can play with and love. It really warms the heart to see these kids play so well together.
Enough of me talking about Clayton's cousins, how about a few images...
Ethan...
Jordan...
Kennedy...
Natalie...
Of course Jordan is the favorite cousin, and the closest in age!
Look at Clayton's dirty little face. You can tell someone was having fun playing in the dirt...
